Field work, a complex work of cooperation and self-sufficiency. Man creates the tools to work the soil, train the animals to work together with him and all together produce all that is needed. This kind of self-sufficiency should be a motive of pride. It’s the opposite of consumerism, laziness, the multiple dependences that subjugate the modern man… everything is bought, everything is made by someone else… This man is much more capable and free than the majority… in spite of the hard work. If these values are doomed, at least I hope that the traditional agriculture tools will survive in some museums. Nowadays, many people seek for them but just as decorative objects, and they are indeed beautiful.
